Christ Has No Voice But Yours – Finding My Voice with Christ

I wrote for the Into the Deep series, Christ Has No Voice But Yours, considering how God helps us to find and use our voices in the world. God sends us forth to others, each in our unique ways, to be God’s hands, feet, eyes, and ears in the world.

I still shudder at the memory, and yet it is a catalyst for why I do what I do today.

I sat in a room surrounded by others seeking to be trained to preach the Spiritual Exercises in retreat format. The room was filled with a handful of Jesuits younger than me and women and men older than me.
