This Mesa Moment was taken by my friend, Laurie Marshanke. I met Laurie through my work with Charis Ministries, and while our relationship began as colleagues she has become a dear friend. Laurie wrote this about her Mesa Moment at the Chugwater Mesa:
Many years ago I worked at a camp near Ten Sleep, Wyoming. Every day I had the opportunity to view an absolutely incredible Mesa. Quite often I would stop what I was doing to ponder on the exquisite beauty around me. This was the beginning of a habit that continues to this day; recognizing God in the magnificence of creation. Spending many hours in nature has provided “Mesa Moments” throughout my life and from that I started a hobby utilizing my camera to capture “Mesa Moments”.
