I asked on facebook for people to share some of their favorite Thanksgiving Prayers. Here is one from Amy:
“Father we thank you for the light and for the pleasant morning light,
for rest and food and loving care,
and all that makes the world so fair.
Help us to do the things we should
and be to others kind and good;
may all we do in work or play,
be done with love and strength each day.”
